Exploring 3D

Designing in 3D is an experimental space that raises a lot of questions and problems that need an answer and solution.
Understanding and testing how an object might behave in real life by adding colors, texture, patterns, etc.
Exploring 3D in illustrator with the goal to ultimately prototype and create a new product.

Shadows and transparency

For this particular piece, I wanted to explore shadows and transparency. There are only 2 colors – purple because it is one of my favorite colors and white because it creates liveable shadows.
The animation is created in After Effect (Ae).

Recipe plan

This recipe plan was published at They Draw website. Used different shades of green to illustrate the Mojito drink inspired by the color of lime (main ingredient) and rum. I had in mind shapes, highlights and texture.

This interior design was part of an illustration/photography challenge by Sherwin – Williams Paints using their color palette.
The challenge is how to create 3D objects in illustrator that are similar to objects we use in our homes like a mirror, lamp, and plant vase.
